China has been active in UN peacekeeping operations and played its active role in international efforts regarding counter-terrorism, counter-piracy, regional hotspot issues, climate change and the Ebola epidemic, etc.

He stressed that China adheres to an independent foreign policy of peace and always follows such basic principles as sovereign equality, common security, common development and win-win cooperation in handling international and regional issues. China continues to pursue the path of peaceful development and hopes to develop friendly relations with all countries. China will also undertake more international obligations with the increase of its national strength.
