On November 20, Mr. Liu Jun, newly-appointed Deputy Consul General of the Chinese Consulate General in Chicago, paid a courtesy call on Mr. Daniel Solis, Alderman of the 25th Ward of Chicago. They exchanged views on how to further promote cooperation and exchanges between the two sides.

        Alderman Solis currently serves as Chairman of the Committee on Zoning, Landmarks and Building Standards of the City Council. The 25th Ward is a district on Chicago's near Lower West Side, encompassing Chinatown.
