On November 10, Consul General Zhao Weiping paid a visit to Nexteer Automotive Co. Ltd. He met with its President Mr Laurent Bresson and Vice President Mr Yi Fan. Nexteer Automotive is a multinational company with a history of over 100 years. Nexteer, based in Saginaw, Michigan, hires almost 4700 local employees. And the company was acquired by China Aviation Automotive Co. Ltd. in 2010.

On the same day, Consul General Zhao met with Ms Mary Gallagher, the director of Lieberthal-Rogel Center for Chinese Studies in Ann Arbor, Michigan.

Ms. Shu Luomei, Consul for commercial affairs, also attended the above-mentioned events.
