Consul General Hong Lei Visits U.S. Senator Dan Coat's District Office

On August 31, Consul General Hong Lei visited U.S. Senator Dan Coats’ district office in Indianapolis, Indiana and met with District Director Matt Row.

Consul General Hong Lei introduced cooperation in various fields between China and Indiana as well as recent development of China-US relations. He said that China-Indiana relationship reflects the great development of China-US relations. China-US substantial cooperation is an important part of China-US relations and is crucial to enhance exchanges and mutual trust between the two sides. The Consulate General would like to make joint efforts with Senator Coats and the district office so as to deepen exchanges and cooperation between China and Indiana.

Director Row welcomed Consul General Hong Lei’s visit. He said that Senator Coats closely follows US-China relations and is glad that the bilateral relations is developing in good momentum. The district office will stay in touch with the Consulate General.

Deputy Consul General Yu Peng was present at the meeting.
