On April 11th, Consul General Hong Lei, accompanied by Deputy Consul General Liu Jun, visited Yanfeng Automotive Trim Systems Co., Ltd., a Chinese company located in Plymouth, Michigan.

Mr. Wang Yaping, General Manager of the company, introduced the company's development in the US. Consul General Hong Lei said that Yanfeng has achieved success in the US market with advanced management concepts and increasing R & D investment, which contributes to the promotion of China-US economic and trade cooperation and tells a good story of mutually beneficial and win-win cooperation between the two countries. Yanfeng Automotive Trim Systems Co., Ltd. is a wholly owned subsidiary of HASCO, the component group of SAIC. In 2014, it signed an agreement with Johnson Controls Co., Ltd. to establish an auto interior joint venture. The company's main products include automotive interiors, exterior trim, seats, electronics and security systems, and has a number of plants and technology centers in North America with more than 10,000 employees with approximately 4,400 of them in Michigan and 1,000 in Missouri.
