On the evening of February 20th, 21st, and 23rd, 2019, Deputy Consul General Huang Liming attended the Spring Festival celebrations of North Chinatown’s Hip Sing Association and South Chinatown’s Chinese Masonic Lodge and Zhongshan Association of Chicago. Consul Lu Xiaohui of the Overseas Chinese Affairs Division and others accompanied the Deputy Consul General.

At each event, Deputy Consul General Huang Liming addressed all the overseas Chinese organization leaders and members in attendance, wishing everyone a happy New Year. He affirmed the contributions these organizations have made towards the community. “Your efforts in promoting the development of China-US relations, spreading Chinese culture, and serving the overseas Chinese community have not gone unnoticed. I wish everyone good health and prosperous business. May 2019 bring never-ending, never-slowing success to your organizations’ endeavors.”
