From February 19 to 21, Consul General Wang Baodong visited the State of Wisconsin and met with local officials, including Madison Mayor Satya Rhodes-Conway and Dodgeville Mayor Barry Hottmann. They exchanged views on strengthening exchanges between China and Wisconsin in various fields and deepening practical cooperation. During the visit, Consul General Wang also attended the annual luncheon of the Central Asia Productivity Research Center at the invitation of Professor Harry Lepinske, the center's chairman, and visited local chambers of commerce, schools, businesses, factories, farms, and other places in Wisconsin.
