On October 18, the 2025 Annual Conference of Alliance for China's Peaceful Reunification, USA (ACPR) was successfully held in Chicago. Chinese Ambassador to the United States Xie Feng and Consul General in Chicago Wang Baodong sent congratulatory letters to the event. Acting Consul General in Chicago Zhang Yiqi attended the opening ceremony and made remarks.

The annual conference also held a cross-Strait relations summit forum. Representatives from unification promotion associations across the U.S. actively offering suggestions and strategies for safeguarding peace across the Taiwan Strait, enhancing China-U.S. friendship and advancing the process of peaceful reunification of China.
