On June 21, Consul General Wang Baodong respectively attended the opening ceremonies of the 25th Chicago Dragon Boat Race For Literacy and the 6th Chicago Chinese Table Tennis Tournament.

Consul General Wang gave an overview of the latest phone conversation between the two Heads of State of China and the U.S., and the progress made in bilateral economic and trade talks. He spoke highly of the efforts made by the host Chinese associations in preserving and sharing the fine traditional Chinese culture and promoting friendship between the Chinese and American peoples by organizing cultural and sports events.
