Consul General Wang stated that China made irreplaceable historical contributions to the victory of the World Anti-Fascist War with tremendous sacrifices. The severe atrocities committed by Japanese militarist forces during the war of aggression against China are backed by overwhelming evidence. Many international friends, including Ms. Minnie Vautrin, from Secor, Illinois, faithfully documented the historical truth through their cameras and diaries. Remembering history is to learn from it and create a better future. Under the stewardship of the two presidents, China and the United States should work together in the same direction, safeguard the achievements of peace and development, work hand in hand to build a community with a shared future for humanity and create a brighter future.

Attendees commented that the Chinese people’s anti-aggression spirit is deeply touching, and the history of Nanjing Massacre must never be forgotten.
