On August 30th, Consul General Wang Baodong attended the charity concert for children with autism held by Midwest Asian Health Association(MAHA). Chinese soprano Xu Xia and young singer Hu Sihao presented a wonderful performance for the audience with local Chinese artistic groups.

In his speech,Consul General Wang spoke highly of the role played by MAHA in improving the health rights and interests of local Chinese and Asian community residents. He stated that this charity concert would overcome language barriers and convey love and hope to children with autism and their families. Consul General Wang also said that this year marks the 80th anniversary of the victory of the Chinese People's War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression and the World Anti-Fascist War. China and the United States once fought side by side and forged deep friendship. This concert has specially arranged several songs of this theme, which are of great commemorative significance. It is hoped that MAHA will continue to strengthen exchanges and cooperation with other institutions, and make greater contributions to better serving the Chinese community and promoting health and medical exchanges and cooperation between China and the United States.
